Nick Cannon Sounds Off on Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian

Nick Cannon is taking sides when it comes to Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian...

E! News caught up with the America's Got Talent host at Maxim's 100 party over the weekend, and when we asked him who he thought would win in a rap battle between the singer and the reality star, he went for the former.

"I'm going to go Taylor all day!" he laughed. "Just in that department."

In other departments, though, many people are finding it more difficult to choose a side when its comes to Kim and T.Swift, especially after Kanye West's wife released a recording of the singer giving the go-ahead to "Famous."

In case you missed the drama that's unraveled between the famous ladies, 'Ye released the song "Famous" earlier this year, which includes a line that reads, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that b--ch famous."

Taylor said she had no knowledge of the song ahead of time, and thus, dedicated a majority of her Grammy-winning speech to calling Kanye out. However, last month, Kim came forward and shared a recording of the singer discussing the song with the rapper and even giving him the go-ahead to release it.

So while everyone may agree that T.Swift would surely pull out all the stops for a rap battle, it's not the easiest picking sides when it comes to this battle!

Meanwhile, Cannon is figuring out his own inner battle right now as he goes through his divorce from Mariah Carey.

Both Cannon and Carey admitted they never thought this would happen. In Complex magazine last week, the "Butterfly" singer said,  "I never thought I would have babies with someone and then get divorced."

Nick reiterated that point, telling E! News, "I think we have the same sentiments when it comes to that. We're working it out, and it's the best it possibly could be."

In fact, the rapper continues to reassure people that he and Carey remain close.

"My ex and I are in a great place and are diligently moving things along so we both can continue to be happy," he said in an interview with Karen Civil earlier this summer. "I am happy for her and all her new endeavors, both personal ones and professional ones."
