EFCC finds document worth N60 billion in Omisore's bedroom

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission made a startling revelation in the ongoing investigation of Senator Iyiola Omisore, saying that a document uncovered showed extraneous overhead expenses amounting to N60 billion by senators and House of Representative members, Daily Post reports.
The EFCC are said to be probing the document to identify the senators and members of House of Representatives, adding that it stumbled onto the budget padding document in Omisore's bedroom.
The former Deputy Governor of Osun who seemed a bit concerned queried the EFCC operatives as to why they had taken an interest into the document, requesting them to limit their investigation to only the N1.310 billion from the Office of the National Security Advisor.
News24 Nigeria reported previously that Omisore was arrested as part of an investigation into a case of receiving and misappropriating N700 million from the Office of the National Security Adviser, between June and November, 2014.
