A suspected cannibal has been apprehended by law officials after he allegedly killed a couple before boiling their severed heads in his kitchen.
According to a report by the UK Metro, the 64-year-old suspect admitted to dismembering the couple's bodies by using a saw before boiling their heads on a gas cooker and flushing other body parts down the toilet.
The crime caused a blockage in the neighborhood sewage system, leading to plumbers investigating the incident, Daily Mail reports.
Having traced the blockage to the suspect's apartment, plumbers alerted officials who then questioned the man on the crime, following which he informed them that the couple were allegedly "alcoholics".
