BRUTAL ONE-PUNCH ATTACK Tragedy as father dies after ‘being hit by his SON’ who he had not spoken to in four years

A FATHER has died after one brutal punch, allegedly delivered by his own son, sent him into a coma.

Morgan Isles-English, 25, was approached by his father Mark English, 53, who he had not seen in four years, in Brisbane, Australia on Monday at 4pm local time.

Police said the pair started a “brief verbal exchange” before Isles-English allegedly punched his estranged dad in the mouth causing him to smash his head on the concrete.

The 53-year-old has now reportedly died from his life-threatening head injuries.

Investigators are considering upgrading the charges against Isles-English who was initially charged with grievous bodily harm.

The Brisbane Times reports that the son fled the scene as his father lay unconscious, face down on the street, and was given first aid by his partner Varri Telfer who waited for an ambulance.

He was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital suffering life threatening head injuries and was placed in a medically induced coma.
