Zayn Malik, 23, might be single and ready to mingle once again. Sadly, a new report insists that he has split from girlfriend Gigi Hadid, 21, leaving her “upset” and “on the edge” after their whirlwind romance. So sad.
“Gigi has cut all communication with Zayn and refuses to answer his calls and texts,” a source tells Life & Style magazine inside their June 13 issue. “She blocked his number.” Wow, that’s so upsetting to hear! So, what happened?
According to the report, Zayn dumped Gigi to “live the rockstar lifestyle,” leaving his girlfriend “on the edge about the smallest things.” While her friends are reportedly urging Gigi to get back out on the dating scene, “She’s told friends and family she’s not ready to see other people yet.”
It certainly did not help that while Gigi and Zayn were apart, he was spotted out and about with another blonde woman. “When she saw pictures of him with another woman, her sadness turned to anger. She feels betrayed,” a source explained.
The pictures we are referring to show Zayn out for a hike with a blonde woman, though they do not seem affectionate or romantic in any way. Zayn was also spotted grocery shopping with a blonde woman, though it’s unclear if it was the same woman — and we have not been able to confirm whether or not she is an assistant, friend, or something else. Hmm.
We are so devastated to hear that Gigi and Zayn might be over, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that they get back together soon. Not only were Zayn and Gigi absolutely adorable as one of Hollywood’s hottest young couples of 2016, but it really seemed like they were on the same page — and that they even loved working with each other.
