Desperate #England dads carry their terrified young sons from stadium as #Russian thugs launch sickening #Euro2016 attack

This heartbreaking footage shows desperate dads trying to shield their terrified sons from Russian thugs at the end of last night's England game with Russia.
Russian thugs in balaclavas were seen attacking England fans in the Stade Velodrome in Marseille at the final whistle.
The hooligans stormed the England section of the ground forcing many supporters to flee in terror.
TV cameras captured the moment a number of England fans attempted to shield their young sons from the violence.

One dad can be seen carrying his terrified son towards the exits. He holds up his hand in surrender as he battles to get his son away from the thugs.

Another dad could be seen with his arm around his son running towards the exits.
The violence came moments after Russia stunned England by scoring an injury-time equaliser to force a 1-1 draw in the sides' opening Euro 2016 game.
Women and children were apparently trampled by Russian supporters as they pushed across into the England section of the Stade Velodrome in Marseille.
Panicking England fans were seen to be climbing fences to get out of the way of the Russian assault.

Rebekah Vardy, the new wife of England striker Jamie, said she and fellow England supporters had been "teargassed, caged and treated like animals."
She tweeted: "That has to be up there with the worst experience EVER at an away game!
"Teargassed for no reason, caged and treated like animals! Shocking! I witnessed this with my own eyes!


"I can't comment on things I didn't see but what I got caught up in was horrific and uncalled for!
"And this happened before the game even kicked off!"
England goalkeeper Joe Hart was captured on TV telling England fans to "be safe" and to stay in the ground.

According to French reports, Russian fans have been kept inside the stadium to avoid further trouble outside.
Witnesses inside the stadium claimed Russian supporters managed to smuggle a firework past security. Many also reported there were no police to be seen in the stands.
Fans had complained before the match that there did not appear to be suitable segregation in the stadium, with just a sheet of blue tarpaulin separating English and Russian fans in one of the stands.
