Dad and daughter, 8, find bloody handprint of murdered woman in new home after landlord didn't clean it - Mirror

A dad who has moved into a new house with his eight-year-old daughter told of his shock after finding bloodied handprints inside.
Kyle Davenport, 25, signed a 12-month contract with The Guinness Partnership to live at the home in Salford, according to Manchester Evening News .
But he later discovered a woman was killed there last year, and says he would not have rented it out had he known what happened.
He said: “I am renting the property and had been for a really brief look around in December and never noticed the blood on the walls.

“But I got the keys and was intending to move in and re-decorate. But I noticed there is blood all over the house, as well as the forensic powders.

Kyle Davenport said he was "appalled" they hadn't cleaned
“I’m appalled a company could let this out in such a state. We didn’t know what had happened initially but then we have heard from people living nearby.
“My daughter has heard it too and we tried to reassure her but she is terrified to be here.”
Greater Manchester Police confirmed a woman was killed at the property, and a male has been charged with murder and is set to appear in court later this year.
Mr Davenport added: “They should have told us what happened at least and they definitely should have thoroughly cleaned the place up. It’s really unnerving and sad.
"But the company need to give us answers. I have called them but they haven’t got back to me about it.”

Mr Davenport said he never would have moved in if he's known
He is paying £97 per week to live in the house. The Guinness Partnership has apologised for the condition of it.
A spokeswoman said: “We’d like to apologise to Mr Davenport for the condition of the property which is below the standard we expect.
“We’re working with Mr Davenport to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we are on hand to offer any assistance with the property should he need it.”
