Cheryl gets a make-under as she attends Liam Payne’s sister’s #wedding

WELCOMING Cheryl Cole to her wedding was not a grey area for Liam Payne’s sister Ruth despite claims she been left off the invite list.

Instead the former X-Factor judge opted for an understated look as she joined in on Liam’s sister’s big day in Wolverhampton yesterday.

And it seems Cheryl’s intention was not to upstage the blushing bride after she opted for an uncharacteristic floor-length, high necked, grey dress with low key make-up and hair.

According to reports  32-year-old Cheryl had not been invited to the main ceremony and that it had been a bone of contention between them.

Indeed it was even claimed former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl had asked her boyfriend to “pull strings” to ensure she could be there.

According to reports Liam’s sister and her fiance had reservations about extending the invitation because she wasn’t a “close friend” or “family” member.

And while it was suggested that she got on well with Liam’s family, she was not invited to Ruth’s hen do in Disneyland Paris.

Sources claimed the fact that twice married Cheryl had not been invited had caused their relationship to become “tense.”

A source reportedly told Heat magazine: “Ruth and her fiance Tom [Gibbens] have asked Liam to bring Cheryl to the reception, but they’re only inviting close friends and family to the main ceremony.

"Cheryl wasn't dating Liam last year when planning for the big day started, and Ruth wants all eyes on her when she walks down the aisle."

But it seems they couple had a change of heart and Cheryl had a change of style and the entire day went without mishap.

Liam apparently  wrote his sister a wedding song which was performed during the celebrations.

And from these photos it looked as if the family had a very low-key affair with even Directioners staying away from the big day.

Usually Liam and the rest of his former band-mates are deluged with fans.
