Boogie Storm have been defended by Jennifer Ellison after Piers Morgan slammed them on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Wednesday.
The Star Wars inspired act - made up of dancers from Ellison's Jelli Studios - earned a spot in the final of Britain's Got Talent , but it wasn't enough to impress the former judge.
He insisted they "wouldn't be in the final" if he was still on the show , and it's safe to say his comments haven't gone down too well.
Ellison has delivered a scathing response, saying they are not "talentless", and insisting the "world champion dancers" have their own battles to overcome.
"@Piersmorgan just for the record my dancers Boogiestorm are not talentless, they are WORLD CHAMPION DANCERS who have just been given the accolade of representing their country in the Dance World Cup, being voted best group to represent team England," she wrote.
"The storm trooper who flips on stage, broke his back a few years ago, another at 21 years of age suffers from Cystic Fribrosis which is an inspiration and achievement in itself to be able to not only be a world champion but dance in suits which are virtually impossible to walk in!! (sic)"
Despite the lengthy and passionate retort, Piers didn't seem to be willing to change his mind, making his opinion quite clear.
He replied: "They're ludicrous Jennifer, a bit like you."
Firefighter Lee Seddon - who is one of the men behind the group - has also hit back, telling the Liverpool Echo: "How can Piers Morgan say they are talentless? The way he treated us on Good Morning Britain was absolutely disgusting.
“He was goading us before we went live on air and while we were on the show. He called us pointless and talentless, and when we gave him a thumbs up because we weren’t able to speak he said ‘that’s how thick they are.’
