Miley Cyrus, 23, is full of surprises, but this may be the biggest one yet. Once she and Liam Hemsworth, 26, got engaged for a second time, fans wondered when they were finally going to get married. However, these two could hardly wait as they’ve already reportedly tied the knot! Congratulations!
Miley and Liam held a “secret sunset wedding ceremony over the winter holidays,” according to a report in Life & Style magazine. While fans thought Miley and Liam were just re-engaged after she started wearing Liam’s ring again, a source says they “have told close friends that they’re already married. It was a spur-of-the-moment. Now they both refer to each other as ‘my wife’ or ‘my husband.'”
While a random wedding might seem like something straight out of Miley’s mind, it reportedly was all Liam’s idea! While she visited him in Australia in December, Liam got the idea to avoid another long engagement by getting married ASAP! “He corralled his brothers [Chris Hemsworth, 32, and Luke Hemsworth, 35] and tipped them off that he wanted to stage a surprise ceremony during Miley’s visit,” according to the source. (Wait until you find out about their unbelievable honeymoon plans!)
It seems Liam can be as impulsive as Miley, and she reportedly was “all in” with the plan. Chris’s wife (and now, Miley’s supposed sister-in-law) Elsa Pataky, 39 was the “unofficial matron of honor,” according to Life & Style. She even lent Miley a “simple frock” before they joined the Liam and his brothers on the sand (while Liam’s parents didn’t make the wedding ceremony. Uh-oh. Did they not approve?)
