#FloydMayweather leaves £1,200 tip to #British drivers after #boxing #legend's trip to #UK

Digbeth-based Phantom Hire was booked to pick up the athlete and his 24-strong entourage from Cannock’s Premier Suite, where the unbeaten champ delivered an after-dinner speech

This luxury car firm in Birmingham got a little more than they bargained for when they picked up boxing legend Floyd Mayweather last week.

The boxer seemed so pleased with the service from Phantom Hire that he handed over a £1,200 tip – making it £200 for each driver.



Mazhar Iqbal, who runs the Digbeth-based firm was tasked with picking up Mayweather and his 24-strong entourage from Cannock's The Premier Suite where the unbeaten champ was an after-dinner speaker.

His gleaming fleet of six Rolls Royce Phantoms then whisked Team Mayweather to Birmingham VIP sheesha lounge Arabian Nights, writes the Birmingham Mail .

After enjoying a banquet meal, Floyd was then taken at 5am to Birmingham Airport where his private jet was waiting.

Mahzar, 31, said: “He was a very, very humble person, a very nice man. I’d read he wasn’t the best tipper, but that must be wrong.

“It’s not the biggest individual tip I’ve received, but it was a fantastic gesture.
