Three killed including two kids and up to 20 missing as school group buried in French Alps avalanche } TheSun
AT least two children are dead and five are missing today after a group of schoolkids were swept away by an avalanche in the French Alps.
Ten pupils and and their teacher were among skiers hit by the wall of snow on a closed ski run at Les Deux Alpes.
Police said three children pulled from the snow suffered cardiopulmonary arrest - meaning their heart and breathing stopped - and are in a critical condition after being airlifted to hospital.
The teacher was found unconscious near the surface and was also evacuated by helicopter.
