Justin Bieber fans have tragically lost one of their own. A huge JB follower named Linda committed suicide, which was announced on Jan. 20. Linda was active both in the Belieber and Twitter communities, getting to know many fellow fans during her lifetime. Because of this, her death has struck extreme sadness upon Beliebers, and they are using social media to send their love to a member of the fandom that left too soon.
In the late hours of Jan. 20, Linda’s friend went on to her Twitter account — per the request of her family — to let her 15,000 followers and the rest of Justin’s fandom know of the sad loss. “This is Linda’s friend and this is the request from her parents to inform you that she committed suicide.
The autopsy says that she jumped from the building which matches with what the gardener from the hospital says, that her body was lying on the pavement. We lost her last night and she is in our prayers. The pressure for her was just too much and she couldn’t bear it anymore. We’re terribly sorry,” the friend announced in a series of tweets.
As soon as the horrible news broke, Beliebers immediately took to social media to express their sadness. So many fans were heartbroken over Linda’s death that the hashtag “#RIPBelieberLinda” quickly began trending. See some of the heartfelt messages below:
