'I will kill you, you'll f***ing die': Brute's words to girlfriend as he throttled her - but family fear she'll take him back

A YOUNG woman was throttled and beaten by her brute boyfriend who told her "you'll f***ing die" - and her family fear she will take him back.

Violent Mark McArthur was jailed for 32 months for viciously attacking Amie Dowell while she held a two-year-old boy, but relatives have raised concerns she will forgive the brute as her mum died after suffering horrific domestic abuse.

The 23-year-old choked Amie until she lost consciousness and then punched her as she lay on the ground during the horrific attack in August.

Seconds before launching his assault he said: "I'll slash you. I could strangle you, it will only take 10 seconds."

He then told Amie to put the tot down before grabbing her throat in a choke hold.

The dad-of-one then fled to Creamfields music festival in Cheshire, posting on Facebook: "Hand myself in after Creamfields... no wasting that. Innocent until proven guilty, f*** yees all."

Worried aunt Tracey Fotheringham was horrified by McArthur's light jail sentence after admitting assaulting Amie to endanger her life - scrapping the initial attempted murder charge.
