Mark Salling Facing 20 Years In Prison If He’s Guilty Of Having Child Porn, Expert Says

Mark Sailing could be in even more trouble than ‘Glee’ fans want to believe. If he is found guilty of possessing child porn, Mark may be spending a very, very long time behind bars — perhaps to the tune of 20 years!

Jail might be in Mark Salling‘s future after he was caught possessing child pornography at his California home on Dec. 29. The 33-year-old Glee actor may face up to 20 years in prison based on how he is tried for the charge and at what level, either state or federal. “Child porn possession is a ‘wobbler’ — a criminal lawyer term for a charge that the prosecutor can file as a misdemeanor or felony,”criminal lawyer Andrew B. Leventhal revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Generally, assuming the state prosecutor charges him with possession only, he could be facing a maximum of 5 or 6 years in prison depending on a variety of factors. He can be prosecuted federally as well, and assuming he’s being charged with possession only, then the range in federal court is generally 10 – 20 years depending upon the circumstances.”
