Jose Mourinho will NOT take football sabbatical and will stay in England according to agents' statement - Mirror .


The Special One will aim to bounce straight back after being sacked by Chelsea but will avoid 'high-profile' games to "discourage speculation"

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he will not take a sabbatical after being sacked by Chelsea.

But the Portuguese boss will stay away from football in order to "discourage" speculation about where his speculation lies.

Mourinho was axed by Chelsea earlier this week after a poor run of form which has seen the champions fall 20 points behind leaders Leicester and sit one place above the relegation zone.

After rumours of dressing room unrest and dividing loyalties, Roman Abramovich and the Chelsea hierarchy conceded that the 52-year-old had to lose his job.

A statement released by his agency CAA confirmed on Saturday that Mourinho is not tired and worn out from the stress of Chelsea's situation and will be aiming to return to the game in the near future.
