Luis Suarez's goal has put the Spanish champions on 179 goals for the year - one ahead of Real Madrid's total for 2014
Barcelona have broken Real Madrid's record for the most goals scored in a calendar year by netting a four against Real Betis on Wednesday evening.
Lionel Messi's strike had pulled Barca level on 178 goals in all competitions with Madrid, who set the record in 2014, while two Luis Suarez efforts pushed the Spanish champions' total to 180 for 2015.
Messi has now netted 48 times in 2015, while Suarez has 48 goals and Neymar has 41. Together, the trio have scored 75% of Barcelona's total goals for the year.
